Sales and Customer Service

AST has an aggressive growth strategy and this position will be responsible for providing sales, marketing and customer service direction for the company’s automotive aftermarket business unit. Those activities will include a wide range of activities from developing new customer relationships, executing marketing initiatives, supporting the customers initiatives within the company and supporting the activities of the sales department on a broader range of initiatives.


  • Able to acquire new accounts and retain and ensure the proper functioning of existing accounts.
  • Work with functional departments within the company to ensure program and customer requirements are being fulfilled.
  • Function as the customer contact to manage and resolve any technical or administrative issues or concerns.
  • Work with the Marketing department to organize and develop marketing materials as necessary to promote products, designs and concepts. 
  • Market research to identify new markets and potential customers, preparing sales initiatives by collecting background data.
  • Set-up and maintenance of the customer database and lead management processes (through CRM software).

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry. Wheel related experience would be a plus.
  • Good problem solving skills, reliable and dependable.
  • Position requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds.
