Electrical Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems for industrial equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring that both preventative and corrective maintenance programs are effectively executed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with electrical control systems, 480-volt 3-phase wiring, and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical components on industrial machinery.
  • Execute preventative and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose machine electrical and mechanical system malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Install and support new equipment, ensuring proper electrical connections and system integration.
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Use analog and digital multimeters and other diagnostic tools to test circuits and components.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and electrical regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, automation, and machine troubleshooting.
  • Experience with 480-volt 3-phase wiring and high-voltage electrical components.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with digital and analog I/O wiring, AC/DC amplifiers, and servomotor repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

Job Type & Pay

  • Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
  • Pay Range: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Hours & Schedule

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (8-hour shift)
  • Expected Hours: 40 hours per week (plus overtime as needed)
