Engineering Technician

Working within the engineering department, the Engineering Technician will be responsible for operating CNC controlled forming machines, reading engineering drawing and directing tooling setups, and monitoring critical parameters in aerospace production. This individual must be self-motivated, focused, organized and a team player. This is an excellent career opportunity with a company experiencing ongoing business growth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate forging and spin machine CNC controls (on job training available)
  • Modify M and G code CNC programs (on job training available)
  • 3D laser scanning parts for QC compliance (on job training available)
  • Monitor, record, and oversee that critical production parameters are maintained
  • Read engineering drawings, routers, and specifications
  • Adjust production based on feedback from Quality and Engineering departments
  • Excise samples from metal products with use of saws etc.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
  • Able to operate shop tools such as a bandsaw
  • CNC control experience a plus, but not required
