Position Overview
We are seeking a Spare Parts Coordinator/Clerk to manage the ordering, tracking, and stocking of spare parts for various machines and production equipment. This role is crucial to ensuring maintenance and production teams have the necessary parts to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in inventory management while working closely with the manufacturing engineer and maintenance team to support equipment reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Order and track spare parts for CNC machines, manufacturing equipment, and facility maintenance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stocking levels of critical spare parts.
- Work closely with the manufacturing engineer and maintenance team to identify and source necessary components.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and prevent shortages.
- Organize and label spare parts storage areas for quick and efficient access.
- Process purchase orders (POs) and work with the purchasing department to coordinate procurement.
- Monitor and report usage trends to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Assist in maintenance scheduling by ensuring parts are available for planned repairs and service.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for all spare parts and equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or inventory management training is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, or spare parts coordination in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, CNC machines, and mechanical components.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with inventory management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage spare parts inventory.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.

- Pay Range: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Hours & Schedule
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (8-hour shift)
- Expected Hours: 40 hours per week (plus overtime as needed)
